yesterday’s draft: Sept. 29, 2023
Tonight, I realized that I don’t have to chase after people to show them my worth. What others’ made me feel doesn’t define my value or worth as an individual, and I must stop dwelling on the rejection and betrayal I’ve felt. I gained the courage to let go of anything that weighs me down.
Thank You for calming my raging sea. Everything I heard tonight was something I knew I needed to hear; it gave me the peace of mind I’ve been longing for these past several weeks. I know that I often forget that I am chosen and that I am loved, but You, You never get tired of reminding me of my worth. It comforts me to think that I don’t need others’ approval; what You think of me is all that matters. I am worthy of love, and I deserve much better than what I am currently feeling.
