Their depths,
That we chose not to dive in.
And the depths,
That we chose not to know about.
Isn’t it fascinating to think that everybody we bumped into has a soul? That they are also living? They also have a home? a friend? a lover? Sometimes I wonder how they see me from their point of view. Or perhaps I’m just a blurry entity that they have never been laid an eye to.
They are people who have different experiences and battles in life. It’s just enchanting to think that I don’t know everything that is happening around me—that we are all living a life at one time. Haven’t these things crossed your mind for once? or maybe I’m really just a hardcore thinker.
Every individual is more than what meets our eyes. I realized that every person is like an ocean—full of mysteries and unpredictable discoveries. And by that, I also mean, there is depth in them. People are more than the surface. There is more in them that naked eyes are incapable of seeing. Just like the ocean. That unless someone decides to dive in—to their depths, to whom they really are, to their life—that someone will always remain a mystery.
Have you ever thought of why sometimes, we cannot comprehend where the other person is coming from no matter how we see it? And so, we hated them. We judge them from what we barely knew—merely on what reaches our eyes. Some time or later, we will realize that we didn’t try to understand them at all..
Yes.
Their depths,
That we chose not to dive in.
And the depths,
That we chose not to know about.
